ICREA (Catalan Institution for Research and Advanced Studies) is a foundation supported by the Catalan Government and guided by a Board of Trustees. Its aim is to recruit top scientists for the Catalan R&D system who are capable of leading new research groups, strengthening existing groups, and setting up new areas of research.
To achieve its objectives, ICREA works closely with Catalan universities and research institutions based in Catalonia by means of long-term agreements. The agreements allow ICREA researchers to integrate in research groups within these universities and institutions.
ICREA offers two different recruitment:
ICREA Senior
This is a contract of indefinite duration for researchers of well-known experience, with a wide range of categories and wages, who wish to join a Catalan research center, which will be the host institution.
ICREA Academia
The ICREA Academia program is addressed to academic and research staff of the public Catalan universities with the aim of promoting and rewarding their research.
